Jun. 12th, 2002 08:10 pm... fifty-seven channels (or thereabouts) and there's absolutely nothing on tonight. meh.
... i'm two-thirds of the way through the second of my Elvis books... it's completely fascinating to read, in astoundingly vivid detail (put it to you this way, i'd love to see the author's old term papers, that's how much research was done), how Elvis rose to prominence and then slowly spiraled down to his unceremonious end.
highly recommend 'em to any Elvis fans. or biography fans.
... passed my course that i had been taking through work. yay me. :)
... one of our runners for the 10k actually drove the course the other night and measured out the kilometer markers on his odometer. that way the good runners can easily figure out their split times, and runners like me know exactly how much farther until we collapse in agony.
