catch-up type post

... hmmm, what have I been up to? packing! almost everything that's coming with me and fits in boxes, has been packed. the next step is the bigger non-essentials (most of my clothes, kitchen stuff), then finally the essentials and the big stuff. wooo, I have a whole big plan going.

... I'm hungry. fortunately, I have a frozen pizza in the oven.

... the DVD gods are ticking me off... the DVD set for 24's first season was supposed to have been released everywhere yesterday, but seems to be delayed here in Montreal.

probably just as well, considering I won't actually have access to a DVD player for close to 2 weeks... ;)

... doggie adoption prospects look good... one, who has a Husky and a backyard, is coming by to meet the pooch tomorrow. keep your fingers crossed that we've found a winner!

note to self

... there are things I cannot do. hitting the high notes in "Take On Me", even in the privacy of my own room, is most definitely one of them.

ow. I knew there was a reason I ended up much closer to bass than soprano. ;)
