melted things
Oct. 23rd, 2002 02:36 pm... the snow has melted outside... given that the temp. was going up to 10C (that's 50 down here in Fehrenheit-land), that was pretty much a given. fortunately.
and October 23rd is pretty early for first snow... I've seen it a few times up in Montreal, but that's also 300 miles north of here. then again, this is New England, we're apparently known for odd weather here as well!
... my brain is also in the process of melting... I got confirmation (at least verbal) of my SSN being issued about 4 hours ago.
since then, I've set up interviews with two placement agencies, sent my CV to half-a-dozen others, and just generally job-searched myself silly.
but damn, does it feel good to be able to job-search again!!
