... if I had known my Tintin icon was going to go over as well as it has, I would've made one ages ago. seriously, I'm getting comments that pretty much say "don't care about what you wrote, but love the icon!"

good thing Tintin is Belgian, not French... wouldn't want to contribute to any media backlashes...

... how to look like a dork... I had an appointment in Boston this morning. the forecast called for rain. so I brought my umbrella.

being a guy, my umbrella is not some fits-in-the-purse deal... it's a semi-golf umbrella I won as a door prize at (oddly enough) a golf tournament. so it's pretty big.

Rox and I left the house at about 6:30... I got back here at about 1pm, having schlepped the umbrella the whole time.

nothin' but sun. at worst, haze. and rain predictions that keep moving back. I've never been so peeved to have it *not* rain!

... also discovered something interesting on the way to the commuter train... there's a "Hooters" near the Fleet Center.

not that I went in. I'm just saying.
