strangeanimal... lots of randomness to catch you lovely people on, so here goes.
... for the first time ever, I won't be spending Christmas with my folks. this year, Rox and I are headed down to North Carolina to do the holidays with her family.
considering I haven't met them up until now, we figured them actually meeting their new in-law would be a good idea. so, off to NC we go. Rox will get to see all of her people, and one of my best friends lives down there as well, so we should be able to get a lot of catching up done while we're there.
and Krispy Kreme donuts. Oh baby. :)
... speaking of which, they're opening the temporary KK store in Medford today to celebrate the ground-breaking for their soon-to-be first location in Massachusetts. at some point in the next 5 days, Rox and I are so there!
... Rox and I managed to finish all of our holiday shopping... mind you, doing the majority of it online helps a great deal. even better, we barely have to mail any of it... we're bringing the NC gifts down there ourselves, the Montreal gifts in January when we go there for MLK weekend.
... and yeah, I should probably mention that we'll be in Montreal for the long weekend in Jan, huh? (Jan 18-19-20) there, I just did.
... no job news to report yet... my interview the other day seemed to go well, I'll hear more from them after Christmas most likely. here's to hoping.
