strangeanimal... laundry's in the dryer, nothing really to do, might as well blather on...
... found out the other night that one of my best buds has set a wedding date... he and the GF are already joined at the hip, so the ring thing is just a formality. ;) so I now have two weddings within my extended posse... one is in '03, the other either in '02 or '03, they haven't decided yet (but they'd better at some point, considering I'm in the frickin' wedding party... and it's about 800 miles from here!)
and huh... if things had turned out different, i'd have been married for two months or so by now. no regrets though.
but still, being two weeks from my thirtieth birthday and being maddeningly single bites the big one. i'm happy of course for all my friends who've found their sweeties, but i guess i'm waiting for my particular shoe to drop.
maybe i'll hit the karaoke bar and start breaking out the Bobby Vinton songs... "Mr. Lonely" anyone? ah, or maybe not.
