Friday Five

1. Do you wear any jewelry? What kind? A watch... I actually own three, but haven't worn two of them in ages (I'm not even sure their batteries work). Other than that, my claddagh ring on my right ring finger.

2. How often do you wear it? From when I get dressed in the morning, till I get undressed at night.

3. Do you have any piercings? I used to have two in my left ear... I let the second one close shortly after the piercing, it kept getting infected. I wore the other earring on and off over the past few years, but stopped a while back.

4. Do you have any tattoos? If so, where? Four of 'em... left and right shoulder, left and right ankle.

5. What are your plans for the weekend? Hopefully get better... I've had a sore throat for a few days now. Given the weather (yet another snowstorm tonight), I think doing stuff around the house is a good call for the next few days.

Oh, that and writing. I know, I know.

1. Do you wear any jewelry? What kind?
Years ago, I used to wear a number of rings, in particular a big silver rams head skull.

2. Currently I wear a Timex Indiglo watch with a Bass Ale logo on it.
The Bass Ale red triangle is, apparently the worlds oldest registered trade mark.)

3. Do you have any piercings?
One silver ring in my left ear. Used to be a small silver spider...alternating with a silver skull and cross bones.

4. Do you have any tattoos? If so, where?
One,on my shoulder....two actually, but the second one was meant to cover up the first one. The first one was a small canadian flag with the caption made in Canada under it. The replacement is an egyptian hyroglyph...the left eye of Ra.

5. What are your plans for the weekend?
No special plans...some domestic chores and a bit of research into improving web page ranking.

The flag tatoo was a cheapie home made affair...not my home, but not a professional job and the ink faded quickly. I eventually wanted to get another one, and it made good sense at the time to place it strategically to obscure the faded remains of the flag ( which by that time had faded so much it was really hard to see any way.

When I got the second one I went to a long established shop on Ontario E. (Tattouage Artistique) The guy running it now is the second generation of inkers there. He has a big framed photo of his father tatooing sailors during WW2. It looked alot like one of those Norman Rockwell paintings (Actually, there is one called "The Tatooist...http://www3.sympatico.ca/richard.carruthers/tattooist.html)

ah, I see. as for Tatouage Artistique, that's where myself and savageknight both got ours, so you don't have to sell me on it! ;)
