mindless entertainment rules

strangeanimal... my cold is better, but now i'm pretty hoarse... i went to the WWF TV tapings in town last night, and the hootin' an' hollerin' along with 18000 of my closest mutant friends took a bit out of my throat.
yeah, i know WWF isn't exactly high art... it's mindless entertainment. soap opera on testosterone. it's fun to cheer the good guys and boo the bad guys... unless the good guys suck and the bad guys are way cool, in which case you cheer and boo whoever you want. on a basic level, it's a real life comic book. a cross between football and ballet. i enjoy it, i'm allowed, leave me alone.
... gettin' a haircut this weekend, the 'do is looking a little shaggy lately. i envy the dog... her hair never seems to grow. then again, she sheds. i just lose hte occasional hair or three. :p
... i was complimented on my spare tire at work today... apparently it's a good-lookin' extra 10 pounds, since it doesn't hang over my belt in a "Bubba" sort of way. good-looking bellies... wasn't that a "Pulp Fiction" bit?
