spring forward, fall on your ass

strangeanimal... remember to set your clocks back tonight (tonight being saturday), since daylight savings time is finito for another year.
the end of daylight savings time usually ends up being the weekend before my birthday... great, another hour of drinkin'. ;) didn't do much pre-birthday partying this year though... between most of my friends being various stages of broke, new parents or out of town, and the layoffs at work, i guess i didn't really have the par-tay vibe going this year.
then again, considering the benders i had the past few years, i think i needed a year off. '99 is still a blur... i remember sobering up from friday just in time to go out saturday. that whole sunday is pretty much a write-off as far as my memory goes.
dinner out with the 'rents tomorrow night though... ribs, yay. :) they're messy as hell, i'll gain two pounds by the time i get home, but they're soooooo worth it. Baton Rouge rules.
