strangeanimal... so i'm watching some of the Breeder's Cup races yesterday afternoon, and they're setting up the next race. most of the horses have unspectacular names.
until they announce one horse... Squirtle Squirt. no, i'm not kidding. and then the tv guy says that the trainer's (or owner's, or someone) small son named the horse after his favorite Pokemon. no shit??
even worse? the damn horse WON. kinda gives you an ill feeling. if Pickachu Pride ends up in the Kentucky Derby, i'm gonna be up-set!!
