... temp gig is going well... not the most exciting job in the world, but it's inoffensive and pays pretty well.

I'm tired as hell though... Rox and I have have stuff to do after work pretty much every day this week. with the commute and train ride, we're out of the house from 7am to 7pm already, so throwing in other appointments makes the days really long.

and LJ was wonky for me last night, so I was waaaaaaaaay behind on my friends page until just now. still waaaaaaaaaaay behind on communities. eeep.

it's also been a week of minor annoyances piling up, but those luckily have been going away fairly quickly. and the good stuff for the most part is still out in front. I just need sleep. ;)

... speeching of good stuff: Detroit, Toronto *and* Colorado getting knocked out of the NHL playoffs? and New Jersey still in? is it my birthday? seriously, I actually like all 4 Western Conference teams that are left, how messed up is that... it's weird not having an easily hateable team left out there.

oh well, there's always whoever the Devs are up against.

and, after years of being hassled my my brother-in-law and myself, my sister finally got a tattoo. bringing the grand family total to six (4 for me, one for bro-in-law, one for sis). she was there when the two of us both got our first at the same time, and we've been bugging her ever since. I guess she figured that after having had two kids, it couldn't be that painful.
