TWENTY YEARS AGO: 1983. I was 11, getting ready to finish up grade school. I was also gearing up for one hell of a growth spurt... I grew a few inches during the summer of '83, including outgrowing my Little League uniform while the season was still going on.

FIFTEEN YEARS AGO: 1988. I was 16, about to graduate from high school. I'm not sure if I had a date for the prom at this point... the classmate I had a huge crush on was going with someone else, so I brought Paula, a very cute friend who is a whole LJ entry in her own right. (As a postscript, said former classmate had a lousy time with her date.)

TEN YEARS AGO: 1993. I was 21. I was deep in hockey-fan mode, as the Canadiens were on the way to winning the Cup that year. I was also finally getting my shit back together after a horrible summer of '92 that ended up turning my life upside-down for a good chunk of the following year.

FIVE YEARS AGO: 1998. I was working, mere desks away from savageknight. Having only been there a few months, I wasn't even sure they liked me at that point.

ONE YEAR AGO: 2002. I was training for the 10K race, and either seeing Roxanne or spending a lot of time on the phone with her on any given weekend. I think we had just started the INS paperwork in motion at this point.

YESTERDAY: We caught up on TiVo, and I picked up some groceries. I also had a bit of an upset stomach. :p

TODAY: Definitely have to do laundry... other than that, we may go out for a walk and/or drive if the weather holds out.

TOMORROW: Job interview. Gleep.
