walking wounded

strangeanimal... ow. ow. both Rox and I are among the walking wounded today. Rox hurt her ankle walking on the lawn yesterday... she stepped in a divot and twisted her ankle a bit. she's limping a little but otherwise OK.
as for me, I have a stiff neck... I slept funny on it and woke up at 4:45 this morning in a not-insignificant amount of pain. I've been heating it since and it's a lot better, but still kind of stiff. I get them every so often... after a while the muscle just loosens up and then I'm fine.
... work is going well, they're still likin' me after three weeks. I've had some pretty busy spells, but I've been surviving... my "system" works pretty well so that everything that passes through my desk gets done fairly efficiently. haven't heard any complaints yet!!
... off to run (limp?) a few errands today. then tonight, I'll be glued to ESPN from 8pm or so. :)
