doggie pimps

strangeanimal... weird shit that pops into my head: so i was watching the horse races the other day like i had mentioned. they were going on about how the horses are offspring of this winning horse and that winning horse... and of course, how horse breeders have to pay to have their female horses impregnated by the prize "stud" horses.
and i know some dog breeders, or at least people who have a few pedigreed dogs that they breed on the side.
then it hit me... it's animal prostitution! they're doggie pimps!
think about it... one dog/horse owner is paying another so that their animals will do the nasty. granted, it's for reproduction, as opposed to the way us silly humans do it, but still!
it's a good thing animals don't have emotions in the classic sense, the poor "stud" horses must feel like a piece of meat! he does all the work, and gets paid in carrots and sugar cubes! what's the deal with that?
i say the people arranging the "transaction" should do it more formally... get some fly pimpin' gear, drive the dogs in a '79 Cadillac... whisper "hey, pssst, i got me a prize-winning Bichon Frisé, 50$ for the stud experience yo' bitch will never forget!"
my dog's what they call a mixed breed. i call her a mutt. she's two breeds that i know of (husky and german shepherd), though she may have akita since i once saw a dog that looked just like her that was part akita.
she didn't come from a fancy breeder, no sirree. she came from two dogs meeting in the heat of... uh, heat, in some backyard somewhere. two dogs whose eyes met across a back alley. a regular canine love story, i'm guessing. they met, they sniffed, they concieved puppies.
no pimpin' here, just the fine work of the SPCA. :)
