... Sirius?? I really thought it was going to be a Weasley (until Arthur survived his attack)... the Weasley family was so prominent in this one that I was sure we were being setting up for one of them to die. I didn't really expect her to leave Harry "alone" again.
as for the book in general... it was good, but it didn't blow me away. I didn't have any "holy shit!" moments where I was completely taken unawares. a lot happened, and heaven knows a lot is going to in Year 6 and 7, but I didn't have any moments that blew me away.

Date: 2003-06-26 12:20 pm (UTC)I had the same reaction about Sirius. When I heard 'major charcter', I was expecting Hagrid or Dumbledore(or God forbid, McGonnagal, after she was attacked). Harry ought to attach himself to Lupin, now. After all, if not for him he'd probably have no soul.
