and talking about head-butts, dont you just hate it when kids are that particular height where, if they're not paying attention, walking into you causes more discomfort than usual?
*chuckle!* I've always wondered what evolutionary quirk (or creator with a wicked sense of humor, whichever) gave cats the urge to knead things with their claws when they're happy . . . "Dammit, cat, I know you love me, now kindly remove those curved razors of yours from my freakin' kneecap!!!" (cats don't grasp the concept of shorts very well, either--they're just as happy to claw bare skin as denim).
Good thing they're cute, fluffy, and awesome, or we probably wouldn't put up with 'em. :-D --Hag
As I understand it, that particular quirk is apparently something that they maintain from when they were kittens... when they will knead and nudge at their mother's belly to stimulate milk flow. Getting in touch with the inner kitten and all that stuff.
