wedding bells

strangeanimal... Rox and I went to a really nice wedding yesterday. friends of ours got married at a state park in Connecticut off of Long Island Sound, and the setting was just beautiful... the centerpiece was an old mansion which I presume was donated to the state parks department, and they restored the mansion and landscaped all around it.
the ceremony itself was in what they called the "amphitheatre", basically rows of simple benches in a "theatre setting", with the water a few hundred feet behind as background. and thankfully the weather held out... it didn't rain until the ceremony was over and the reception moved indoors to the mansion.
and it's seven weeks until ours. :)
