... howdy. haven't LJed much lately... hell, haven't touched the 'puter much lately. been busy... a few dinners out late last week, some shopping.

rdcf's old friends is moving to the area, so we played host for a few days while he was looking for apartments before the actual move. cool guy.

and we managed to spend some time in Montreal this weekend even... my dad turned 60 a few weeks ago ad my niece's birthday is today, so we did a big birthday/dinner thing. did some shopping too ('cuz there's some good stuff you just can't get here), and headed back here last night.

and now we're catching up on TiVo as our Labor Day festivities.
