Friday Five!
Sep. 12th, 2003 06:14 pm1. Is the name you have now the same name that's on your birth certificate? If not, what's changed?
Same name, same game.
2. If you could change your name (first, middle and/or last), what would it be?
I'd possibly pick a last name that's easier to pronounce... for a five-letter name, it gets mangled and mispelled. A lot.
3. Why were you named what you were? (Is there a story behind it? Who specifically was responsible for naming you?)
I'm named after my mother's uncle (my sister was named after my father's aunt). My parents liked the name, after they vetoed an earlier suggestion... my grandmother (maternal) wanted me to be named after her late (passed in 1951) husband. I won't offer the name they suggested, suffice it to say you don't see many people younger than 50 or so with that name.
4. Are there any names you really hate or love? What are they and why?
I've always been partial to Alexis for a girl for some reason.
5. Is the analysis of your name at kabalarians.com / triggur.org / astroexpert accurate? How or how isn't it?
Your first name of Patrick creates a serious, thoughtful nature, shrewd, efficient, and business-minded. You are one to make your own decisions, and not be influenced by others. You desire independence and freedom from the authority and interference of others. You are not overly ambitious, preferring instead just to seek stable, settled conditions which are adequate to meet your responsibilities. In your personal relations with others, you are inclined to be rather serious, and not to see the humour others see, or to respond spontaneously. Your positive manner and outlook can make others feel that you are imposing your will on them and even interfering in their affairs.
Starts off accurate, fades towards the end.
