Sep. 12th, 2003 06:23 pm... this guy, very familiar to some of you I'm sure, has released a surprisingly good album. "Mighty Little Man" is probably one of the most sing-along-in-the-car-able songs to come out in a while.
and I'm not just saying this because a) I've been told I strongly resemble the singer and b) I'm a mighty (at least in my head) average-sized man.
... John Ritter dies. Wow. The last time I remember someone famous and apparently healthy dying so suddenly, was Jim Henson. He was a funny man who managed to get past "Three's Company"... he'll be missed.
... Johnny Cash dies. A musical great, I've always had a soft spot for The Man In Black. "A Boy Named Sue", "Ring Of Fire", "I Walk The Line", "Folsom Prison Blues"... all classics. And thankfully, a few generations got to hear his music and enjoy it.

Date: 2003-09-12 08:18 pm (UTC)His last interview was actually on Entertainment Tonight (I originally said Access Hollywood), maybe a week ago. He was happy and vital.
This shock will linger for a while.
