... so Art Carney, Ed Norton from "The Honeymooners" has passed away.

my all-time favorite Carney bit will always be the one I've brought out the few times I've played golf...

Ralph Kramden: "OK Norton, now address the ball."
Ed Norton: "Helloooooooo, ball!"

That and Norton taking something like 5 minutes to set up his golf swing. Classic.

When they mentioned him on the CHOM news today, Ted chastised their news anchor. Even though Ed Norton was his most well-known character, he didn't feel that mention of him as a sewer worker was a fair tribute. He pointed out other accomplishments: first that he was an Oscar winner (for Harold and Maude I think), and was a veteran wounded in D-Day.
