... as it turns out, since the move we live a few blocks from some of the best good cheap Chinese food in these parts. it's a little hole-in-the-wall place (like 5-6 tables) called East Asia that a few friends introduced us to, and it's just plain really good stuff.
the sign of that being that I'm still pretty full, and we had it for dinner last night. I may have overindulged on the General Gau (Tao? Tsao?) chicken. but mmmm yeah, it was worth it.
when I was still in Montreal, there was a noodle place near work that did a pretty amazing General Tao as well, but theirs was more of a stir-fry dish with noodles and Chinese veggies... it's good to know that I've got access to good Chinese grub nearby now. of course, if I discover too many good places to eat, I may have to start running again...
