strangeanimal1. Are you superstitious?
Only during the NHL playoffs. ;) In '03 I alternated wearing Devils jerseys on game nights, always the opposite of what the team was wearing. I was worse when I was younger... in '86 when the Habs won, I had an entire pregame ritual. Worse, my sister was convinced that if she watched overtime games, the Habs would lose... so if the game went into OT, she went to bed.
2. What extremes have you heard of someone going to in the name of superstition?
One athlete, I forget who, already had one number crop up a lot in his life so it was his lucky number, uniform number, etc... he got married at (say it was 3) 3:33 on March 3. That's overdoing it a smidge.
3. Believer or not, what's your favorite superstition?
I still throw salt over my shoulder after spilling it.
4. Do you believe in luck? If yes, do you have a lucky number/article of clothing/ritual?
Most definitely... to borrow from a Red Dwarf episode, I think luck is out there and you can just catch it like a cold, either good or bad. And my lucky number is 24.
5. Do you believe in astrology? Why or why not?
Not really, though it's fun to read horoscopes to see how general they are. "You will make a financial decision today." well, doy. Though I am quite a Scorpio... ;)
