strangeanimal... twenty years after the fact, it still has to be said... George Michael is a talented singer. George Michael is a talented musician. a talented songwriter.
but why anyone in their right mind thought letting him rap on a few Wham! songs was a good idea is completely and utterly beyond my comprehension. (I'm assuming he blamed it all on Andrew Ridgeley after the fact anyway.)
when you listen to some of Wham's reallllllly early stuff, you start to realize why he wrote a song about distancing himself from his earlier career (Freedom '91)!

Date: 2004-02-23 06:22 pm (UTC)* - I was commenting on how our CD player's shuffle was being kind to me tonight, playing lots of Journey. She said she disliked Journey as much as I dislike Wham's rapping - that's major dislike.
