Here's the deal. I'll tell you 15 things about me. A dozen are true and three are lies. Then you, my friends, tell me which are true and which are fibs. Feel free to bounce it back in your journal if you're so inclined.



1. I graduated with a journalism degree, but started college in a science program.
2. I formerly had hair past my shoulders.
3. The first DVD I owned was "The Shawshank Redemption".
4. I lettered in high school.
5. The only thing I can do on any musical instrument is play the opening riff to "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica on guitar.
6. I make a mean bowl of chili.
7. My index fingers are double-jointed.
8. I led the league in stolen bases one season in Little League.
9. I had light-colored hair as a little kid.
10. I've been heard on Canada's oldest radio station.
11. My elementary school, high school, and university department have all changed buildings since I enrolled in them.
12. I bartended at parties before I could legally drink.
13. I've been the tallest in my immediate family since I was 11.
14. I've toured both the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa and the White House.
15. I've worn a "white tie" tuxedo (that's white bow-tie, vest, and tails).

Hmmm...maybe you didn't letter in high school? Actually, I'm not sure exactly what that means, as we don't have that tradition around here.

nope, I did letter in HS, but in an activity, not a sport. (Lettering is when you get a school letter for excelling at a sport or activity... think Richie on "Happy Days", or Archie in the comics)
