cliché question

... the cliché says "God is my co-pilot", right?

i'm just wondering because there's a car outside my building with a license plate that says "God is my pilot". i'm curious to see this car leave its parking spot, since, theoretically, God should be driving.

and trust me, Montreal drivers are not deities. some just think they are!

... so, I went to work for absolutely nothing today. the process I had to run at work today is almost completely dependent on a computer file, which one of the companies we deal with was supposed to generate and send over to us. said file was supposed to have been in our system, ready to go, by this morning.

"sunday morning" is now "monday evening". IF they actually get it out on time. presuming they do, I'm nonetheless in for a long night... I'll likely only get started around 4 or 5pm, and who the hell knows when everything will finish.
