... New Tears for Fears album drops on Sept. 14th

too cool! I had heard about the album awhile back but there were delays in the release date (are these guys involved with the Red Dwarf movie or something?), glad to see they've finally nailed it down.

and Amazon seems to be getting a ton of pre-orders for it, so hopefully this'll mean they're announcing tour dates... I always wanted to see TFF in concert but never did.

Christ, I didn't even know they were still around! Who knew. Well, apparently some people knew.....

they broke up in the early 90s, there was a big kerfuffle because one of them wanted to use the name for his solo work... time passed, they kissed and made up, etc.

you're in the radio biz, you're supposed to know this stuff! ;)

I don't pay attention to the music news...or the music for that matter ;)

Awesome! I LOVE Tears For Fears. I assume they are just as rockin' nowadays as they were back in the 80's? 'Cuz I've yet to own any of their post-80's stuff.

Fantastic! I still have their well-known album on cassette (I'm getting it soon transferred to a CD before it degrades), and didn't think we'd ever hear new stuff from them again.

(I believe they had another album with Seeds of Love but it just wasn't as catchy.)

I had a lot of their stuff on cassette too... we have the greatest hits CD, which is what I'm listening to as I type. :)

seeing as how I'm about to start pimping the company anyway, I might as well get a little practice in...
