I can see my house from here!
Sep. 11th, 2004 04:49 pm... I yoinked this site from someone on my friends of friends page... Terraserver is a searchable database of satellite pics and topographical maps of the US (most are pretty old, like mid-90s, I presume they don't release the newer ones for security reasons).
they're magnifiable to pretty close... Rox and I were playing with the site this morning and managed to find a few of her previous apartments. and if you ever want to see what the middle of nowhere looks like, find somewhere that's close to the middle of nowhere and pan the map... I found a few spots where there's basically highway surrounded by nothin'.
thus ends my geekery for now.
