1. What is the geekiest part of your music collection? to quote Wil Wheaton, William FUCKING Shatner.
2. What do you eat when you raid the fridge at night? PopTarts or pretzel bits.
3. How much money would it take to give up the Internet for one year? Lots'n'lots'n'lots... you know, phone calls and magazines and watching TV all the time costs money.
4. What is your secret guaranteed weeping movie? I still get choked up at the end of The Shawshank Redemption.
5. Do you have a completely irrational fear? Water. Not as in drinking it, but as in a drowning in it sort of quantity.
6. What is a physical habit that gives away your insecure moments? Scratching itches.
7. Do you know anyone famous? I went to journalism school with some reporters, most notably someone who is a senior reporter for a national news magazine.
8. Describe your bed: Metal. Antique-y.
9. Do you know how to play poker? Yup... I'm a decent player, I'm better at blackjack.
10. What do you carry with you at all times? Wallet and cel phone.
11. What do you miss most about being little? Running really quickly, climbing fences.
12. Are you happy with your given name? Sure.
13. What color is your bedroom? Some sort of white, with hardwood floors.
14. Do you consider yourself to be a nice person? So I'm told.
15. Do you spend more time with your girlfriend/boyfriend or your friends? With the wife, who is my best friend anyway.
16. What's one thing you wish you could do but can't? Walk into an office, tell them I'm smart enough to do whatever job they're looking for, and have them actually believe me and give me the job.
17. What is your ideal marriage location? Anywhere I can marry my sweetie.
18. What's one instrument you wish you could play? Bass (the guitar, not the fish)
19. Something you love and hate: Dunno.
20. What's one language you want to learn? Spanish.
21. What do you order at a bar? Jack Daniel's.
22. Have you ever pierced your body parts? I had two holes in my left ear... one never quite healed properly so I let it close after a few weeks, I got the other when I was 17, but haven't worn anything in it for a few years.
23. Do you drive stick? Tried, never quite got the hang of it... it's like driving a car while juggling.
24. What's one trait you hate in a person? Not keeping your word.
25. What kind of watch do you wear? A silver-tone Tissot, a gift from work a few years ago.
26. Do you consider yourself materialistic? Sort of... I like having nice stuff but I'm not obsessed with it.
27. Favorite writing instrument: Keyboard, or clicky pens.
28. Do you prefer to blend in or stand out? I'm a Canadian white guy of near-average height and weight, I have no choice but to blend in. ;)
29. Do you ever go out dressed like the opposite sex? Does Hallowe'en count?
30. What is one car you will never buy? An SUV.
31. If you won the lottery, what would you do? Pay off debts, nice houses for us and our folks, throw a party for the folks who liked us in our not-filthy-rich days.
32. Burial or cremation: Cremation... haven't decided what to do with the ashes though.
33. If you don't like a person, how do you show it? I try to avoid them.
34. What kind of first impression do you think you give people? Nice, funny.
35. How many drinks before you're tipsy? 2 or 3.
36. Have you ever done any illegal drugs? I refuse to answer this question on the grounds that certain naturally-grown herbs are much more illegal in the country that I currently reside in than they are in the country I used to reside in.
37. Do you think you're cute? Cute as a synonym for "hot", no. Cute as in "that guy's handsome, that guy is exotic, that guy is cute", sure.
38. Do you have a problem changing clothes in front of your friends? Not really... I've changed in too many gym locker rooms to have that hang-up.
39. Whats the most painful experience you've ever had (emotionally and/or physically)? Physically, my back surgery and the couple of heavily-medicated days immediately after. Emotionally, the summer of 1992, pretty much in its entirety.
