Geez, I only scored a 59!
I dunno if I should be glad or disappointed...

But since you are apparently a bigger geek, perhaps you can be of assistance.

My current hobby project is taking a fine working condition 1981 IBM 5150...(Intel8088 processor with an earth shaking 640K of memory! (on an expansion card)...and giving it a usefull life.
Currently it's only purpose is playing Zork1. But I have dreams of getting it hooked into the home network (while I'm not too keen on the green monochrome monitor, I just love the feel & durability of the old IBM keyboards.

What I am looking for are any early 80's DOS programs (calendars? text editing? games?)
Ideally on the original 5.25" floppy disks.

equipment-wise, I have nussink that old... whatever I had that was anywhere near that was purged two or three moves ago.

[livejournal.com profile] savageknight or [livejournal.com profile] thothmeister, however, being BBSers of a more vintage stripe than I, may have some though.

Seemingly harder than finding replacement tubes for my antique radios. 8-)
