Is it wrong that, of all of the gadgets that Rox and I have, one of my favorites is the shredder?

I think shredders appeal to the part of guys that would find new and creative ways as a boy to destroy stuff... my friends and I would melt GI Joes (the small plastic ones, as opposed to the big Barbie-sized ones) with airplane glue. Not for any play value ("Hey! Let's be Cobra and torture the Joes!"), but more just to see what Storm Shadow would look like as a pile of melted plastic. (The answer: like a pile of melted plastic.)

So yeah, shredders. Adults get to destroy stuff in the privacy of their homes or offices. And it helps you avoid identity theft. Also makes great confetti if you shred multi-colored junk mail.

I should write ad copy for Iron Mountain or something.

I love shredders. It is like controlled chaos and destruction. I love my coffee grinder too. THAT is like legally making a ton of noise that my neighbors can kiss my butt!

I like the coffee grinder in theory, but in reality I'm too lazy to grind my own beans when ground coffee is plentiful.

Shredders are coooooool, indeed. I never melted my GI Joes, but I did enjoy putting firecrackers in the little middle bit--where they're held together at the waist with rubberbands or something to make them poseable. Whee! Bits everywhere.
