My mom's uncle, and by association that other Patrick guy who drove the snakes out of Ireland. Oddly enough, I haven't been to Ireland yet and have no real fear of snakes.
3. Do you wish on stars?
Of course I do... when you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are!
4. When did you last cry?
November sometimes, stress over my then-job situation.
5. Do you like your handwriting?
Put it this way, it's a good thing I type well.
6. What's your favorite lunch meat?
Chicken or turkey.
7. What is your birth date?
October 30.
8. What is your most embarrassing CD?
I wouldn't say "embarrassing" quite so much as "requires explanation", but Songs for Dustmites by Steve Burns, aka the former host of "Blue's Clues".

9. If you were another person, would YOU be friends with you?
Probably... if there were two of me, I could borrow the other me's clothes and stuff. And he couldn't say no, because he's me.

No. Never saw the movie, either.

My friends and I all had those tabletop video games that looked like the full-size cabinet... we each had one or two and would swap them back and forth, so it was like everyone had a half-dozen. Pac-Man was my contribution but I preferred Q-Bert and Defender.
17. Which class in high school do you think was totally stupid?
Intro to Law. The kids in my class all knew about the law, either by obeying it or constantly breaking it.
18. Do you have a journal?
If not, then I've wasted a lot of time typing into nothing these past few years...
19. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
The only answers I could use for this question are all heavily sarcastic.

I've never been called Nick.
21. Would you bungee jump?
You know those bungee cords you use to hold your trunk lid closed, or other similar small uses? That's as close to it as I'd ever get.

Yes. Even the slip-ons.

Compared to the next guy, the next guy could probably kick my ass.
24. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Peanut Butter Cup.

7 1/2 to 9. I have wide feet.

True story: the IIHF first sanctioned a Women's World Championship in the early 90's. Team Canada's jerseys were white... and pink.

A dear HS friend who left us way too soon.

Faded blue jeans, dark blue slippers.

It's 30 degrees. On the plus side, the UV index is low... it being after dark, and February, and all.

When it's just warm enough that you can go outside in a t-shirt without sweating or being chilly.

We had dinner at Outback a few days ago, and ordered some big-ass chocolate cake thingie. Even with two of us, we still had a lot left over, so we brown-bagged it. Even after a day or two in styrofoam in our fridge, it was some seriously good cake.

Just finished The Fight by Norman Mailer. Now reading The Unthinkable Thoughts of Jacob Green by Joshua Braff, aka Zach Braff's brother. Next up, Dreams From My Father by Barack Obama.

Laptop computers should come with a tiny pad for you to rest your finger on, whichever finger you use to control the mouse substitute.
