... national anthem critiquing... why oh why oh why, when singing the star spangled banner at the Super Bowl, did Mariah Carey have to include her patented, annoying, dog-whistle screech near the end? yes, Mariah, we know you've got a vocal range of approximately 43 octaves. get over it... we don't need to hear your teakettle impression every song.
... in a similar vein, anyone else watch the NHL All-Star Game? specifically, Jewel, uh, singing the national anthem? she looked and sounded like she had either just smoked some primo doobie, or had just enjoyed the orgasm of a lifetime before hitting the ice. just my observations.
... and hey, at least they didn't get Roseanne to sing it. ;)
