... i'm having a good one... called Rox this morning, been exchanging e-cards with herself, and she shows up at my door in... 23 hours. presents are on standby, plans are planned. can't wait.

also got lotsa chocolate and other goodies at work... gotta love people who pamper their teammates! i didn't bring anything in, inconsiderate bastard that i am. ;) i did give 'em all candles and airline-bottles of booze on christmas eve though. so i'm just occasionally inconsiderate.

... and the Olympic committee *could* give Salé/Pelletier a gold medal and not lose face or punish the Russians... when synchronized swimmer Sylvie Frechette (also Canadian, go figure) lost a gold medal due to a judge erroneously punching the wrong key on a scorepad (1992, i think), she was awarded a gold a few months later when the IOC determined that everything was kosher and she would have won the medal otherwise.

and the original winner, Kristen Babb-Sprague, got to keep her gold as well. i say the IOC should suck it up and award Salé/Pelletier gold ASAP before any more mud gets thrown.
