(And before any oenophiles lament my use of a fine wine implement: a) we very rarely, if ever, have wine in the house and b) it's a pretty cheap plastic-handled corkscrew.)
And yes, I know that there are some tools that are basically a corkscrew to bore through wood, but we don't have one of those.
I may not be handy, but I'm occasionally ingenious. ;)
