babies and blue screens

strangeanimal... i got to see a baby today!! one of my friends at work (as opposed to just plain cow-orkers) gave birth to her first son Wednesday morning, so i paid them a visit after work today. the little guy is so tiny!! everyone involved is healthy and happy... she definitely looked quite comfortable in "mommy mode".
there must be something in the water at work though... in my department alone, this is the third birth in a little over a month! and wait, it gets better... we have one more cow-orker, two wives, and a former cow-orker now in another department due in the next two months... that's seven of 'em for those of you counting along at home.
i'm trying to organize a race once they're all crawling... it's being met with mixed reaction so far. ;)
... i'm on assignment at work again tis week... at least they moved the dept. i work with into our building, which is more convenient for everyone involved.
but my cube at work sucks... firstly, there's no phone. secondly, it's got one of the few 15" monitors left in the building... thirdly, i got the Blue Screen Of Doom at about 4pm today. one minute everything was coooooool, next thing i know the 'puter is pushing up daisies. good thing this isn't my usual PC!
... Celebrity Boxing last night on Fox... man, was that odd. train-wreck odd. i say have Emmanuel Lewis and Gary Coleman fight and be done with it. ;)
...rdcf will be at my door in less than 24 hours. yay. :)
