strangeanimal... yeah, that was a WWF reference. went to see them last night, they were taping "RAW", their live monday night show... the crowd was absolutely jacked.
montreal always has loud crowds for wrestling but last night was completely off the charts. definitely the loudest wrestling crowd i've ever been part of. they're coming back in May for yet another TV taping... don't know if i'll go to that one though.
... haven't posted with any real content in a while... i was kinda preoccupied by a certain blonde who happened to be in town this weekend. 'cuz y'know, when Rox is here, i get kinda preoccupied that way. :)
saturday night was pretty much the acid test... dinner with my folks and dessert with one of my oldest buds (Albert) and his fiancee Jennifer. let the record show that my folks loved Rox, and vice-versa... i knew when my mom and dad broke out the old family stories (not to mention the good ol' family album) that she was in.
hooking up with Alb and Jennifer was a hoot... for a while, we thought Jennifer was Rox's long-lost sister since they had so much in common. Alb and i pretty much sat there in quiet amusement. ;)
it's always hard when she has to leave though... though i managed to hold off crying until after she left this time. i can't help but miss her like crazy... mad props to the 'net and the telephone for providing me with my Rox fix when i need it, until the next time i see her. that'd be Easter weekend. :)
... and given that we'll have had close to a foot of snow fall this week, where the hell is spring??
... not much new news otherwise. i think the chocolate in the fridge is calling me.
