dang snowplows...

... snowplows are pretty loud. ok, not so much the snowplows themselves, more the small battalion of vehicles that follow them to scrape the road, scoop up the snow, cart away the snow, etc etc. at least it's all supposed to melt this week.

... got some new clothes today... between having a gift cerificate and my folks deciding to get me an early Easter present, came away with some new shirts/sweaters.

also took the opportunity to clean out my closets for the first time in forever... the Salvation Army's going to get two boxes of, well, new to them clothing. most of it's in good shape... just stuff I bought (or was bought), wore a few times, never really got into, and shoved in the back of the drawer or the closet.

and it's also fun to look at some of your t-shirts and realize how long you've had them... 92/93 was big t-shirt season for me, i kept my Bon Jovi Keep The Faith tour shirt from '93, my Guns'n'Roses/Metallica shirt from the riot show in '92, my Canadiens Stanley Cup shirt from '93, my Spring Break shirt from Daytona from '92... go figger, most of my t's with dates on them are from those two years. how odd.

... i see my rdcf in less than 5 days. yay. :)

we're supposed to have around 10 degrees and rain for a few days this week, so that should do the trick.

I love old t-shirts. My oldest and most favourite is a 87-88 Music For the Masses/Depeche Mode shirt that used to be my sisters til she stopped liking DM. I swear, one more wash and it's going to fall to bits. It's practically see-through now!
