... it's been a pretty lousy week at work so far. other than two babies being born to wives of cow-orkers on Tuesday, remarkably little fun.

my job is pretty much a mix of apathy and annoyance at this point... i've been completely "mailing it in" for weeks now. like Scott Adams has said, the difference between doing your best and doing your normal level works out about the same after taxes.

especially at this job, where, as this, this, this, this, this... hell, a bunch of posts have stated, i have little hope for advancement anyway.

especially considering i just recieved my fourth (count 'em four) rejection letter from applying to internal openings in the company. you'd think they'd hire me for one just to shut me up. ;)

... but hey, subject change. i get to see Rox in ten days, for more than a week. wooooo. all i need is for my dog-sitter to confirm that she will indeed be dog-sitting, and it's all good. missin' the Rox.

... nothing left to report here... you'd think i'd be more talkative. *shrug*

Sorry about the latest rejection letter at work. Not to worry though, you'll be out of there soon enough. I know it's hard to get rejected but focus on the light at the end of the tunnel. You only have to put up with this stuff through the end of the calendar year at the latest and then you're on to bigger and better things.

And we're down now to nine days!
