strangeanimalHuh... found out that I know a lot more LJers than I thought I did... a few people that I haven't really communicated with in a while. Felt a little weird to catch up on their lives through LJ... then again, picking up where I left off with old friends has been somewhat of a theme for me lately, so we'll see what we shall see.
Updated my bio too... figured my original bio was pretty glib. I'm still trying to find a balance between being private and being anonymous... I don't feel comfortable spilling all my details in a public forum like this, but at the same time I don't want to be a digital hermit.
I guess that's the nature of the beast these days online... when meeting people in any way, really. We all pick the level of privacy we're comfortable with, and who we let past the gates. Updating my bio was my way of decorating the gates with some lovely wrought-ironwork. ;)
So if I seem a bit "guarded", please don't be put off... start a convo, tell me I'm full of crap! All thoughtful (or completely surreal) comments will be answered, and I'm a lot more open once I'm in an actual conversation, honest.
Oh, and egregious puns are a shortcut to my heart... I don't use them much because people tend to run away quickly when I do. Closet punsters, unite!
