... speaking of words almost like that, the Montreal Gazette sucks soggy doggie dongs. they opened a brand new printing facility, which is good. it's supposed to spew out a better-looking newspaper, which is good.

except the presses always break down, which is bad. especially considering they're actually newer than their "old" presses. uh... okay. take today for instance, i didn't even get my newspaper, period.

you'd think they had a monopoly on the local english-language daily newspaper market or something... ;)

... happier stuff... the lunchtime running sessions continue to gain momentum. i've discovered, in talking with the other runers, that i'm a slow-starter type. it takes me a while to get up to speed, but once i do adrenalin and momentum take over and i can cover a lot of ground once i hit stride.

i definitely believe i can finish the 10k... we're routinely doing 6 or 7 klicks during the training sessions and i usually have some gas left in the tank.

and hey,

rdcf will be there to cheer me on, and that rocks most of all... having my sweetie at the finish line will make the 6.25 miles pass in a snap.
