strangeanimal...Dee Dee Ramone of the Ramones was found dead of a probable drug OD. *sigh* Joey and Dee Dee slightly more than a year apart. depressing. :p
... in slightly happier news, we had our last full practice session for the 10K at lunch today (9 days away, eeeeek). we did timed 1.5k runs, at the pace that we're supposed to run the whole race, one uphill and one downhill.
how'd i do? if i run the whole race at the pace i ran today, i'd finish in 53 minutes. but since there is no way on this earth i'd be able to keep that pace up, i'm thinking more like an hour.
which is what i was shooting for anyway, so there we go. hopefully the milestones will be well-marked so i can pace myself... gotta have something left at the end so i can look all athletic for Rox as i cross the finish line. ;)
