strangeanimal... they scheduled my surgery for July 22, which is good (in that i don't have to wait for weeks), but a little bad (in that it's so soon!!).
but i'll have no shortage of people willing to help me out the first couple of days that i'm laid up... Rox wants to be here if she can get time off work, and my sister will be in town the whole two weeks (even stranger, the timing is a complete coincidence!). hopefully i'll be a good patient. ;)
FF time...
When was the last time you...
1. ...sent a handwritten letter? do cards count? if so, to Rox a few months ago. if not... wow, ages ago. and they said the 'net killed letter-writing. :p
2. ...baked something from scratch or made something by hand? made chili a few weeks ago.
3. ...camped in a tent? summer of 2000. i used to go camping at least once a summer with a group of old buds, but time, jobs, and most of us leaving town pretty much killed those trips.
4. ...volunteered your time to church, school, or community? i volunteered for the fund-raising 10k at work as well as running it.
5. ...helped a stranger? i hold doors open for people all the time.
