razzle-frazzin' rackin-frackin'...

strangeanimal... in the fun fun fun department, my surgery has been pushed ahead from next Monday... to this Friday. yeah, two days from now.
and when do i find this out? this morning, while getting a pre-op blood test. in the hour i was there, the surgeon found a scheduling conflict (what, golf?) that meant i either had to get operated Friday... or a Monday-to-be-named-later. since i want to get this damn thing over with already, i chose this friday.
but how nice of them to give me a whole two days' notice on this... it's not as if i had to plan anything around my surgery that i had to change.
oh wait, i did? no biggie, just Rox coming here, bringing my dog to the kennel, doing groceries, notifying work, changing a dentist appointment.
and of course, my plan to spend the weekend chilling with Rox and psyching myself up for the surgery? pretty much shot to hell, huh? instead, i get a Thursday night of running around like a chicken with my head cut off, and a weekend of pain and sleep, most likely.
i am not having fun.
