I do it in spurts... I can go long periods (and so, apparently can they!), but sometimes I just feel the need to reconnect.
2. Which communication method do you usually prefer/use: e-mail, telephone, snail mail, blog comments, or meeting in person? Why?
meeting in person, because you never feel you really "know" someone until you meet them, it seems. blogging's grown on me though... my LJ will never be great biographical literature, but i find it fun.
3. Do you have an instant messenger program? How many? Why/why not? How often do you use it?
ICQ, which I hardly ever use these days.
4. Do most of your close friends live nearby or far away?
All over the map... part of living in Quebec is leaving it, it seems!
5. Are you an "out of sight, out of mind" person, or do you believe that "distance makes the heart grow fonder"?
Distance makes the heart grow fonder, until you decide you're out of your mind. ;)
