... first of all, a welcome-to-LJ to savageknightone of my oldest friends. other than thinking he's a TV star, he's a pretty cool guy. ;)

... went to the Livejournal Meetup last night with sterben, good_enough and thothmeister. 'twas fun, lots of funny stories and good coffee. and another chapter on the farewell tour.

... and this is probably my temporary goodbye to LJ for a few days... tomorrow's my last day at work, and they're coming to pick up my cable modem either tonight or tomorrow, so I likely won't have access to the 'net until Rox and I are set up in the new digs.

Wow, it's here, and even though we said our goodbyes last night, it's still sinking in.

We've known each other almost as long as we've both known savageknight, and we've seen each other nearly weekly for many years now (except obviously when you went to Calgary). We've gone to pay per views and house shows together, practically were the main members of the Montreal chapter of the Holly Cole fan club... lots of great memories.

rcdf, you know this already but: you've really got one of the good ones. Cherish that always.
