reverend cheesehead
Oct. 29th, 2002 11:15 am... there's something cool about knowing that the officiant at your wedding is a huge Green Bay Packers fan. :)
Rox and I met with the Rev this morning... we had spoken quickly a few times before, but this was the official meeting to make sure we're all on the same page regarding the upcoming nuptials.
everything seems to be in order... he's a really easygoing guy, and he seems to have no qualms about marrying two lapsed Catholics who just moved into town. (then again, in Massachusetts, I think they're surprised if people *do* set foot in a Catholic church these days!)
the bottom line is: the Rev is quite cool, the church itself is small but beautiful, perfect for our size wedding, and they know and appreciate our situation, and are willing to work with us to create a happy, meaningful wedding day. works for us. :)
