yet another soft-drink taste-test

strangeanimal... today's contestant: Red Fusion, from the fine people at Dr. Pepper.
it's certainly red... ;) smells quite good upon opening the bottle... looks very much like red cream soda (does everyone have red cream soda or is that a regional thing?).
and the taste... not bad. I found they could've kicked it up a notch or two (forgive the Emeril reference there), the berry taste was a little too subtle. but definitely not a bad way to fill your glass.
as far as the new batch of soft drinks to hit stores these days goes... Vanilla Coke gets a strong 8/10, Red Fusion gets a 7, Pepsi Blue gets a 1, and 7-up Tropical Twist gets minus-12. (I refuse to taste-test Mountain Dew Code Red because the Dew grosses me out.)
... and if you all behave, I'll tell you why I'm net-surfing from the floor for the time being. :)

That, or your first taste of it wasn't at a Pizza Hut. Something about a hot pan pizza with a Dew that makes me go Mmmmm! :)
